Volkswagen UK is celebrating the launch of the smallest Volkswagen ever designed with Volkswagen up! – The Narrow Roads of Britain, a unique book which only the up! driver can really appreciate. Everyone talks about the big, wide, open roads. This compilation is the result of a search for the little forgotten ones by Volkswagen Fleet Services and photographer Harry Cory Wright. They traveled 3,000 miles across the British Isles to seek out 18 of the thinnest roads, spaces that make you seriously think about hitting “New Route” on the sat-nav. Whether tight city streets or narrow, winding, country lanes, these are the roads that the up! was designed for. With this little “Glove Box Book” to guide them, Volkswagen customers can now enjoy them all. All they need to do is put the GPS co-ordinates (which appear on each page) into the Maps and More system when they take the car for a test drive and then breathe in.

Every Fleet Manager who test drives the up! will be sent one of the miniature coffee table books in advance of their demonstration. Maps & More is a portable multi-functional infotainment system which includes a navigation system, hands-free telephone unit, vehicle information displays and a media player. In addition, apps can be used to tailor Maps & More to the driver’s individual requirements.
